Our trained advisers, who are all members of local churches, will meet with you in your own home, or in The Christian Centre, 9 Shirehill, Saffron Walden
at a time to suit you.

Wellspring Christian Trust was established in 1991 to give help to those in financial need within the Christian churches in the area. The Community Debt Advice Service was launched in 2002 in order to benefit everyone living within a 15 mile radius of Saffron Walden, irrespective of race, religion or background.

We operate an equal opportunities policy, a complaints procedure and confidentiality policy.
We are governed by a “Board of Review” comprised of members of the local community. The Board meets quarterly and we have an Annual Public Meeting in March of each year.

We currently have 5 trained advisers who are all members of various local churches and fully supported by their respective ministers. All are volunteers, and all except the manager have full-time jobs, but can be available at most times of the day, including weekends
